Is there an entry fee for the gallery?

While there is no fee to enter our galleries, Donations are always welcome, they play a vital role in sustaining the galleries, enabling us to continue preserving and exhibiting extraordinary artwork. Your contributions directly support our efforts to maintain the collections, develop engaging educational programs, and carry out important academic research.

Can we visit the Aaron Douglas Gallery?

Unfortunately, the Aaron Douglas Gallery is currently closed for refurbishment right now. But you can visit the Aaron Douglas murals which are located in Cravath Hall. For more information on Cravath Halls Operating hours please click here.

Where should we park?

When you plan your trip to Fisk University Galleries, rest assured that parking will not be an issue. Our well-positioned parking lot, located at the corner of Jefferson St. and Dr. DB Todd Blvd, awaits you with plenty of spaces available. We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring your visit is filled with inspiration, creativity, and the joy of exploring exceptional works of art.

Is The Stieglitz collection on view?

Currently, the Stieglitz collection is located at the Crystal Bridges Museum which will be on view from January 28, 2023 - January 1, 2024.

How do you book a tour?

We ask that if your party is over ten persons you contact us via email so you can plan a group tour. Please contact us at galleries@fisk.edu if you are interested in booking a tour, we kindly request you to provide us with some details so we can arrange a visit for your group. Is the Gallery Wheelchair Accessible?

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all visitors. There is a wheelchair-accessible ramp, as well as a chair lift and elevator that are located inside the building.
